Analgesic:
Moderate-moderately severe pain: PO, 25-100 mg q4-6h as needed. Max. 400 mg/d. Age> 75 yrs: Max. 300 mg/d; Daily doses> 400 mg are usually not necessary.
Moderate-severe pain:> 14 yrs, 50-100 mg q4-6h. |

| hypersensitivity to tramadol products or opioids.intoxication with alcohol, hypnotics, narcotics, centrally acting analgesics, opioids, or psychotropic drugs. |

L or R: Abnormal gait; allergic reaction; amnesia; cognitive dysfunction; dyspnea; orthostatic hypotension; paresthesia; seizures; syncope; tachycardia; tremor; urinary frequency or retention; vesicles; visual disturbances; depression; malaise; menopausal symptoms; sleep disorder; vasodilation

| Moderate-moderately severe chronic pain not requiring rapid onset--titration schedule: 25 mg QD and titrated in 25 mg increments as separate doses q3d to reach 100 mg/d (25 mg QID); then, increased by 50 mg as tolerated q3d to reach 200 mg/d (50 mg QID). |
