Antibacterial (based on imipenem content):
Mild infections: 250-500 mg q6h
Moderate infections: 500 mg q 6-8h to 1 g q8h
Severe, life-threatening infections: 500 mg q6h to 1 g q 6-8h.
Uncomplicated UTI: 250 mg q6h.
Complicated UTI: 500 mg q6h.
Max. 50 mg/kg (imipenem) or 4 g/d |

hypersensitivity to imipenem or cilastatin, or any component of the product ;hypersensitivity to local anesthetics of the amide type and in patients with severe shock or heart block. |
